Parks Canada Repeater installation on North Shoulder of Lipalian Mountain

Project summary: Parks Canada is proposing the installation of one repeater on the north shoulder of Lipalian Mountain in Banff National Park, AB.  The project will add one 2 meter high, omnidirectional  antenna and a radio on a small support structure. The system will operate in the VHF band  to service the Lake Louise and Moraine Lake visitor shuttle bus traffic. There may be periodic equipment additions or replacements as required for any radiocommunications service.

2026-04-08– Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada has issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. .
