Tsuut'ina Nation Buffalo Run Real Canadian Superstore

Loblaw is proposing to construct a Real Canadian Superstore at Tsuut'ina Nation. The proposed project will be located at Buffalo Run across the road from Costco on a pre-graded site. It will include the construction of a one story 9240m2 building and associated parking lot and loading area. The proposed project activities include grading and excavation, removal of top soil, construction works, storage of construction materials and fuel, the use of heavy machinery, and the installation of temporary work trailers and security fencing.

Latest update

April 16, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
