Recladding of The Military Museums - Calgary

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project which involves the removal of older stucco exterior on the original portion of the Military Museums and replacement with metal cladding panels. The project will involve recladding the side of the Military Museum, to ensure Northern Flickers stop damaging the building into the future, and to modernize the building. The overhang will be drawn back to the original studs, in which case new cladding will be applied.

Latest update

March 29, 2023— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
