Town of Banff 25DP88 108 Glacier Drive - Addition of Attached Accessory Dwelling unit

The project consists of construction of an addition to the existing half-duplex residence, including a slight expansion of the existing residence and addition of a new attached 3 bedroom 2.5 storey accessory dwelling. Partial demolition (attached carport) and exterior renovation of the existing structure will be required to facilitate the addition, as well as potential adjustments to site servicing, potential tree removal, foundation excavation, and regrading and landscaping.

January 23, 2026  – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
