Yard Expansion - Canada Post Calgary Mail Processing Plant

Canada Post is proposing to construct a yard expansion including employee parking and trailer staging, new street entrances, new barrier-free entrance, traffic flow improvement, site drainage improvements, lighting, security upgrades and new guardhouse at 1100 49th Avenue NE, 589 Aviation Road NE and 1351 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, Alberta. The proposed works are related to Canada Post's Calgary Mail Processing Plant (CMPP) and will consist of associated preparation works, including demolition of an existing building.

Latest update

March 10, 2023 – The authorities issued a Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
