Samson Cree Nation Water Infrastructure Replacement

The purpose of the Project is to address flow and water pressure deficiencies of the Nations existing infrastructure. The Project includes the installation of a booster station (tied into existing infrastructure), installation of an emergency backup generator, and replacement of approximately 1,390 m of watermains. Watermain replacement will occur during two phases.

May 20, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of Determination for the Samson Cree Nation Water Infrastructure Replacement Project - Canada.ca (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
