Saddle Lake 40 Acre Housing Project

Saddle Lake Cree Nation proposes a 40 acre greenfield residential housing project consisting of 83 residential lots (single family houses and multi-family duplexes), roads, associated utilities (electrical, communication, water, wastewater, and gas), and stormwater drainage. Stormwater, water, and wastewater infrastructure will be connected to existing systems. The project area currently includes a mix of fallow pasture, forested areas, and residential areas. Four distinct habitat types were identified in a biophysical assessment and include wetlands, grasslands, forest lands, and developed areas.
