Construction of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police Detachment in Vermilion, Alberta

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are proposing to construct a new police detachment in the Town of Vermilion, Alberta. Planned footprint of new detachment building is approximately 1117m². Construction will occur on a previously developed lot in the Town of Vermilion, Alberta.

17 June 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
