August 1st, 2024 — On February 8, 2024, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change received a request from the Beaver Lake Cree Nation for a regional assessment. The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada accepted the request on June 21, 2024, and is conducting an analysis to make a recommendation to the Minister on whether a regional assessment is warranted.
