Heart Lake First Nation: Inter-jurisdictional Access Road

Heart Lake First Nation plans to construct an approximately 5.6 km gravel road, extending from the Heart Lake First Nation main road to provincial highway 881. Additionally, the project will involve construction of two culvert watercourse crossings, disturbance to five wetlands within the project footprint, and the development of a new intersection with highway 881. This proposed roadway will provide direct access between Heart Lake First Nation and highway 881.
