Construct a new Mock Jump Tower training facility – Canadian Forces Base Edmonton

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The Replace Mock Jump Tower project will deliver a new steel frame Mock Jump Tower with eight new running lines and supporting steel poles, along with a new gravel access road and parking lot.

The site will be used to train soldiers on basic parachuting skills.

The new facility is located adjacent to the smaller existing facility which has a wood frame Mock Jump Tower that has reached the end of its useful life and only has four running lines.
