Potential Regional Assessment of a Western Energy Corridor from Alberta to Manitoba

The Minister of Environment and Climate Change has received a request to conduct a regional assessment of an interprovincial energy corridor, extending from east-central Alberta to northern Manitoba with associated marine shipping.

November 15, 2022 — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change has decided that a regional assessment of a Western Energy Corridor from Alberta to Manitoba is not warranted under the Impact Assessment Act. The reasons for the decision are provided in the Minister's Response.
