SaskPower Ground Grid Replacement near MacKenzie Creek

SaskPower is proposing to replace a ground grid in a developed area within an existing SaskPower Right Of Way adjacent to Highway 263 and an access trail within Prince Albert National Park (the Project). The Project is required to replace a ground grid in order to safely maintain the integrity of power service for existing customers.
Equipment that is expected to be used for completion of the Project will include a back-hoe. Access to the Project will make use of the access trail and the SaskPower right-of-way. Surface disturbance is expected to be minimized to the ground grid replacement location. The disturbance will be limited to an approximately 1.5 m deep, 1 m wide, and 1 m long pit required for the ground grid replacement. The resulting pit will be immediately backfilled and compacted once the ground grid has been replaced.
