Muskoday First Nation Subdivision Development

Muskoday First Nation is proposing to construct a new subdivision development to help support current housing needs and future growth on reserve. The proposed site is located immediately north of the future cultural center along the west side of the existing lagoon and transfer station access road. The project will consist of a new 40 lot subdivision, complete with all underground utilities, site roadways, ditching, and lot grading.

Site preparation activities will include vegetative clearing and topsoil stripping. Construction activities will include approximately 17 hectares of ground disturbance, consisting of underground utility installations, roadway construction, and lot grading.


Latest update

February 25, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
