Ahtahkakoop Powwow Grounds & Access Road


The Proposed Project

The Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation is in the design phase of a new arbor, access road, and dance grounds. Physical works will involve general earthworks, & carpentry. SW and SE 1/4 - Sec 7 TP51 R6 W3M. The project will include 220v Single phase 600 amp service, an access road and an arbor with exterior surrounding power pedestals. The access road is 10m wide and is approximately 1,050m in length. As of 90% AODBT provided an arbor that is 54 meters in diameter, 12.3 meters to the roof peak. Standard carpentry construction waste from the garage and arbor.

August 26, 2022 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of Determination for Ahtahkakoop Powwow Grounds & Access Road - Canada.ca (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
