James Smith Cree Nation Headstart and Daycare

James Smith Cree Nation is proposing to construct a new Aboriginal Headstart on Reserve (AHSOR) and Daycare. The space will house AHSOR and daycare facilities, including space for an Elder/Culture room, storage, offices, and outdoor play area. The kitchen will be shared by the AHSOR and daycare clients and staff. The building is approximately 900 m2, with a parking lot, garage and landscaping to support play area and a fire pit area.

Physical activities will include general building construction activities from foundation installation to HVAC system commissioning. Supporting utilities such as power, communication and water lines to connect to existing subdivision distributions.
