Northern Lights Casino Expansion and Renovation

The Northern Lights Casino is completing an expansion and renovation of the existing facility on the Northern Lights Reserve No.220 within the City of Prince Albert. The expansion will add 31,000 square feet to the existing Northern Lights Casino builing, increasing the current gaming floor square footage and making major changes to the interior and exterior of the casino. Upon completion the casino will be 73,000 square feet.

The casino will continue to tie infrastructure services into the existing City of Prince Albert sanitary,  waste and water services. No new land will be developed through he expansion of the facility.


Latest update

April 1, 2026 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
