Wahpeton Dakota Nation New School

Wahpeton Dakota Nation is proposing the replacement the existing community building. The new school will be designed to accommodate approximately 160 Pre-K to Grade 12 students and associated staff. The new school will be approximately 3,400 sq.m over two stories. The new project will also include a new gravel parking lot, maintenance shed, two playgrounds, a basketball court and a soccer field and landscaping. New standard utilities such as water, sanitary, power and natural gas services will be installed and connected to existing services.

The portable classrooms currently on site will be relocated and the Communiplex will be demolished after the new school is constructed.
