Pelican Lake Timber Harvesting Plan

Pelican Lake First Nation has requested that a timber permit be issued for the 2020-2022 to Tolko Industries, who plan to harvest a total softwood volume of 16,906 m3, and a hardwood volume of 46,227 m3 from from cutblocks on Chitek Lake IR 191.

November 5, 2020 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/136631 and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
