Cold Lake First Nation English Bay Gas Station Project

Cold Lake First Nations is proposing the construction of a new gas bar and convenience store. The project will consist of a 2,000 m² footprint gas bar, an above-ground 60,000 L fuel tank, a 14ft x 40 ft convenience store, a gravel pad and two-lane fueling pad. The project will require site clearing, tie-ins, and installation of a water cistern and septic holding tank.

Latest update

March 30, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
