Cenovus Foster Creek - Maintenance in Cold Lake Alberta.

Cenovus Energy Inc. is proposing modification of 30.5-meters radiocommunication tower located at Cold Lake AB - Maintenance Bldg Cenovus FC, a developed site in Cold Lake. The project will install antennas at 27-meters to  provide two radiocommunication link from the proposed tower to an existing tower. HP2-18 High Performance Parabolic Reflector Antenna; 0.6 m ; Polarization: Horizontal ; Operating Frequency Band: 17.7 - 19.7 GHz will be used. One link carries SCADA traffic and another link to carry corporate network traffic in the 17-19 GHz band. There may be periodic equipment additions or replacements, as required for any Radiocommunications service.

2024-08-27– The public comment period on the project is closed.  Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
