River Cree Golf and Games Recreational Facility

Enoch Cree Nation is proposing the construction of a two-storey recreational facility with a footprint of 2,951 square meters. The main level of the building with a gross floor area of 2,462 sq m will contain a reception area, pro shop, office spaces, kitchen, restaurant, bar and lounge, arcade, pool, two party rooms, bathrooms, two (2) suites, mechanical rooms, golf equipment area, and golf 15 driving range launch pads (i.e. double decker driving range). The second level of the building, with a floor area of 1,121 sq m, will contain a concession area, bar and lounge, two suites, bathrooms, mechanical rooms, and an additional 15 driving range launch pads. Two roof top lounges will also be constructed to enable viewing of the driving range with a gross floor area of 206 sq m. The building is designed to accommodate 616 personnel including staff. The main building will have 220 parking stalls.

Latest update

May 6, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until June 5, 2026 respecting that determination.
