Alexis Nakota Sioux Junior and Senior High School - Educational dock

The Band is currently building a new Jr. / Sr. High school on this site and part of the educational opportunities that this site offers is to learn about the environment and the lake that the site is adjacent to. This project would include building a dock into the lake accessible from the school site to provide space for educational program opportunities.

August 19, 2020 – The public period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
