Enoch ATCO Plastic Mains Replacement Project

The replacement of natural gas distribution pipe to serve the residents of Enoch, as well as a subsequent pressure upgrade to the distribution system. This will include 8.3km of 60mm, 88mm, and 114mm polyethylene distribution mains. 80 service lines will be replaced, disconnected, pressure upgraded, or transferred to the newly installed distribution mains as appropriate. Project activities will include pipe installation by a combination of trenchless horizontal drilling and plowing. No tree clearing is expected. Since the pipeline system will be installed to serve existing residents and buildings, the footprint will be mostly within previously disturbed land.

Latest update
