Ermineskin Drainage Improvements (Culvert Replacement - Small Boy Road, Buffalo Avenue, 3 Mile Road) Project

Ermineskin Cree Nation is proposing drainage improvements, allowing the community to be more resilient to future climate change-impacted rainfall events. The scope includes the improvement to three culvert crossings that were identified in a Climate Impacts Flood Study. An additional culvert is to be installed parallel to the existing culvert at Small Boy Road, improving the capacity from 1.21 cms to 1.72 cms. The existing (damaged) culvert at Buffalo Avenue will be replaced with a new culvert. An additional culvert is to be installed parallel to the existing culvert at 3 Mile Road, increasing the capacity from 1.34 cms to 1.95 cms.
