New rooftop radiocommunications antenna for Aero Mag 2000 at the Calgary International Airport

Aero Mag 2000 (YYC), is proposing the installation of a rooftop (5 m above ground level) radio antenna. The building is located at 8001 – 21 St. NE: Calgary International Airport. The radio will be used to communicate with Aero Mag 2000 (YYC) personnel involved in aircraft de-icing operations.

End of Public Comment Period

April 17, 2020 – The public comment period on the project is closed.  Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

Notice of Determination

April 20, 2020 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada has determined that the proposed project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
