Alberta Zero Emissions Truck Electrification Collaboration Fueling Station

The proposed project involves the development and demonstration of a cost-effective 450 m2 hydrogen fueling station for highway capable, zero-emission, heavy-duty commercial fleet vehicles, located at the Edmonton International Airport near Edmonton, Alberta. The project includes the following physical activities: site preparation, construction of a 140 m2 concrete pad on which the fueling equipment will sit, installation of fueling equipment and fencing, and operation of the hydrogen fueling station.


Latest update

July 24, 2020 – Natural Resources Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
