Bigstone Cree Nation: Maskotehk Flood Mitigation Upgrades at Cattleman Drive & Cee Too Drive

Bigstone Cree Nation proposes the replacement of a watercourse crossing over an unnamed creek in Wabasca IR No. 166D to increase capacity and amelierate flooding issues. Construction will include isolation of the crossing location, installation of a temporary bypass crossing, removal of the existing corssing, installation of a new crossing, removal of the temporary bypass route, and commissioning of the new watercourse crossing.

April 29, 2026 - Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Maskotehk Flood Mitigation Upgrades at Cattleman Drive & Cee Too Drive project, located at Wabasca IR No. 166D is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.
