Poplar River - Harbour Improvements

Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Small Craft Harbours (DFO-SCH) are proposing to complete a number of harbour repairs to the Poplar River Small Craft Harbour site. The work includes; removal of a fence pole, removal and replacement of curbing and fenders. The project will also include the new addition of two floating wharves and one timber-frame crib with ladder. The new timber-frame crib will support one of the new floating wharves.

It is likely that the contractor will use a variety of hand power tools as well as some heavy equipment to complete the work. Typical heavy equipment for this job might include an excavator, fork lift, skid steer, large trucks and trailers.

Latest update
