Bloodvein First Nation CFS Prevention Building

Construction of a new First Nation Child and Family Services (FNCFS) capital asset to be used as a prevention building where children, youth, adults and Elders will come to share and learn about our heritage and customs as Anishinabe people.

20,032 SF building size ( 8 offices for staff and visiting professionals. Large central gathering space, cultural room, visiting rooms for family assessment and therapy, and reunification visits, large teaching kitchen, educational space, space for youth and afterschool programming, multi-use meeting space and a mini gym.)

September 13, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
