Electric Vehicle Charging Station Installation at Osoyoos Border Crossing

The purpose of this project is to install two Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations each supplied with a dedicated 40A, 208V circuit in the northern fleet vehicle parking lot. A new 200A, 3P circuit breaker will be installed on the northern main distribution panel located in the Administrative Building's Electrical Room.

The trenching for the conduits and cables will be approximately 50 metres long. Existing trees in the landscaped area are not expected to be impacted. However, hydrovac will be used to clear the soil for the installation of underground conduits, to ensure minimal disturbance to tree roots.

The paved areas and landscaping on the Site surpass 1,000 square metres. The Site does not have a history of contaminated soils.
