Penticton Airport - North Apron Expansion

Transport Canada is proposing to expand the Penticton Airport existing airside apron along the north and east edges of the Apron. On the north side, the expanded apron will relieve existing apron congestion during peak periods by creating new parking spaces. On the east side, it will improve the clearance needed for taxiing aircraft and enhance safety and aircraft movements. It is expected the new apron design will be a flexible pavement structure consisting of granular base and subbase with a hot mix asphalt (HMA) surface.
