Public Comments Invited – Start of Public Comments Period

Notice of intent to make a determination

Harvesting of burnt timber, on CHUM CR07179 & SCOTCH CREEK 4 07181, by the summer 2023 forest fire

June 11, 2024, Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the harvesting of burnt timber on CHUM CREEK 2 07179 & SCOTCH CREEK 4 07181 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The project consist in building permanent and temporary forestry roads, timber harvesting and the deactivation of the temporary forest roads.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

Written comments must be submitted by July 15, 2024 to:
