Skeetchestn Pipeline Segment Replacement and Valve Site Installation

Westcoast Energy Inc. (Westcoast) plans to complete two pipeline segment replacements along the 6BL1/6BL2 pipeline and install a new valve as part of the U3226 Mainline Change Class Program (the Project) to protect the safe operation and long-term integrity of the pipeline system. The Project is located approximately 36 kilometres (km) east of Kamloops, British Columbia, along the Deadman Vidette Road on the Skeetchestn Indian Reserve.

The Project requires temporary workspace (TWS) to facilitate excavation activities, accommodate construction equipment, house soil and material stockpiles, and make construction safe. TWS is planned along the existing Westcoast pipeline right-of-way (ROW) at the new valve site and both pipeline segment replacements.
