Pole Removal at NRC Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory

The National Research Council of Canada is proposing to remove a section of the existing pole array at the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory, located approximately 20 km south of Penticton, British Columbia. Project works will include removal of cables from poles, cutting and felling of approximately 300 wooden poles, removal of pole ends from the ground for disposal off-site, and backfilling of holes.
