Tk?emlúps te Secwépemc - Mount Paul Multi-family Residential Development

The Certificate of Possession Holder is seeking a Headlease for the purpose of construction and operation of two residential apartment buildings totaling 168 multi-family residential units, a paved access road, and associated electrical, water, gas, and sewer utility lines, as well as parking and amenity space for playground and dog run.

 

The developent is proposed to take place on Kamploops IR1, Lot 53, Block 1, Plan 68637 CLSR, near Kamloops, BC.  The site is currently undeveloped land, and environmental information is being gathered at this time.  

 

The property is currently vacant, with no structures or buildings presently located within the lot boundaries.  Previous uses included cultivation as well as the installation of agricultural irrigation infrastructure. The property is 4 acres in size, at the northeast of the intersection of Mt. Paul Way and Chilctin Road, situated approximately 1500m northeast of the confluence of the North Thompson and South Thompson Rivers.  The Yellowhead Highway 5 runs north and east of the site.

Tk?emlúps te Secwépemc - Mount Paul Multi-family Residential Development – Public Comments Invited

 

June 27, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Tk?emlúps te Secwépemc - Mount Paul Multi-family Residential Development, located in Kamloops IR1 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

 

Written comments must be submitted by July 28, 2025 to the BC Environment Team.
