Aurora LNG Project

Nexen Energy ULC is proposing the construction, operation, and decommissioning of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility and marine terminal at Digby Island in the Prince Rupert area of British Columbia. As proposed, the project would include a natural gas receiving and LNG production facility with a capacity of up to 24 million tonnes of LNG per year, a marine terminal, and supporting infrastructure and facilities. The project is expected to operate for a minimum of 25 years.
