Porpoise Harbour Dock Demolition

The Prince Rupert Port Authority plans to decommission a small area of old timber pilings in Porpoise Harbour, located in Port Edward, British Columbia. It was determined that the pilings area and all of its components should be decommissioned, utilizing heavy equipment, primarily a crane working from a floating barge, to remove the pilings and related materials. The Prince Rupert Port Authority must determine whether the proposed Porpoise Harbour Dock Demolition Project, located within the Port Edward Harbour in Port Edward, British Columbia, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
