Wahnapitae New Subdivision Lot Servicing and Pre-Construction Activities

Wahnapitae First Nation is proposing to develop a new subdivision, the first part of this project will include site clearing and preparation of 20 new lots to be used for housing purposes.  The project will include a geotechnical investigation and soil testing for each lot, and a legal survey.  Following these activities each lot will be graded and drainage plans will be developed.  An overhead hydro line will be extended for future service.  A new access road will be constructed, the access road will be an extension of Makwazhaan Trail Road and will be a 2 lane road, with gravel surface, shoulders, ditches, culverts and driveways.  Each lot will have a new water well installed.  New septic systems will be designed and will be constructed at a later date.  Aggregate will be imported and placed to accommodate new road base and topping.  Houses will be built at a later date.
