Short Range Development Road Upgrades and Bridge Replacement - 22 Wing North Bay

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The bridge on Mooz Miikan roadway requires upgrades to meet Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code. Eleven culverts along Mooz Miikan roadway are being replaced. The road crown in select locations is being re-established and select ditches will be excavated including limited rock removal where required.

June 26, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
