Gima Kwe Nong Parking Area

A small parking lot to be created on previously disturbed former access road at Gima Kwe Nong (previously known as Emmett Lake Ranger Camp). The site is made up of a small concrete pad and gravel base with overgrown vegetation. Work includes removing small saplings/vegetation, scraping 1-3" organic material and resurfacing with gravel.

October 29, 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
