Hidden Valley Road Box Culvert

The proponent has requested replacement of an undersized culvert on the Hidden Valley Road that runs through the Crane Lake-Crane River wetland complex in order to reduce flooding, improve connectivity and maintain road access. Proposed work includes the removal of current infrastructure and replacing an undersized round culvert with three larger box culverts and raising the road.

November 6, 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
