Guardrail Installations at select Culverts on Lower Spring Road and 11th Line at 4 CDTC Meaford

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. Real Property Operations is proposing to install guardrails at two culverts, specifically at culvert 6.029, located just past the range access gate on Lower Spring Road and culvert 6.018, on 11th Line. Construction will consist of installing erosion and sedimentation control, installing posts and guardrail, as per design requirements, and applying sealer along the roadside. Any excess fill will be managed in accordance with federal and provincial requirements, with an intent to re-use on the base. This Project will ensure safe use of the roadways.

Latest update

April 30, 2026— The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
