Davis Cabin Relocation

A cabin near Little Dunks Bay will be relocated to the St. Edmunds and Peninsula Museum in collaboration with the local municipality. Work includes minor limbing and brushing of trees, bracing, lifting and securing the building onto a trailer by an external contractor, and completing restoration of building footprint when relocation is complete.


Latest update

November 4, 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
