WRFN Septic Bed Assessment/Replacement Program

The project will replace and repair septic beds in the Whitefish River First Nation reserve in Ontario. The work will assess the condition and environmental impact of existing septic beds, replace 20 failing septic beds, repair 19 failing septic beds, replace 350 m of watermain, and decommission the existing septic pit.  The project will improve the capacity to treat and manage wastewater and extend the life of the assets.


Latest update

November 20, 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Infrastructure Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
