15 Lot Subdivision Expansion- Whitefish River First Nation

Whitefish River First Nation is a growing community in the Greater Sudbury area and is in need of new housing. In order to accommodate this growing need, the community is planning to develop 15 new houses within a subdivision within the reserve boundaries. As part of this project, a new subdivision will be designed for 15 homes, and includes tree clearing and paving of 930 meters of roadway, and laying 600 meters of watermain extension along the proposed new road. Turning lanes will be added to highway 6, inside the existing right of way, and will connect the new subdivision to the provincial highway system.
