Royal Avenue Reconstruction - Canadian Forces Base Shilo

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. In general, the work includes:

  1. Removal of existing roadway, sidewalks, storm sewer and watermain along Royal Avenue.
  2. New storm sewers and catch basins along Royal Avenue.
  3. New watermain and hydrant along Royal Avenue.
  4. New sidewalks, new paving.

Latest update

July 22, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
