Dakota Women's Lodge (Winyan Tipi)

Dakota Plains will construct an environmentally-conscious women's lodge to serve as a focal point for healing, land-based programming, and self-empowerment. The lodge will be approximately 2900 square feet, and will include an open meeting space, small meeting rooms, kitchen and outdoor traditional cultural space.

June 23, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
