S&R Sawmills - D-Mill Urgent Bank Stabilization - Extension to Expiry Date

The proposed amendment

Fraser River Pile & Dredge (GP) Inc. (FRPD), working on behalf of S&R Sawmills, proposes to extend the validity of Project Permit PER No. 21-061-01 to February 28, 2024. Due to scheduling conflicts and a shortage of marine equipment, they anticipate the project will not occur this year before the permit expiry date. This extension would also allow the contractor to work within next year's least-risk work window for the Fraser River Estuary, between June 16 to February 28. There are no changes to construction activities or the scope of the work outlined in the approved permit (available here).
