Cargo Carrier Road

Vancouver Airport Authority is proposing to extend an existing airside road/driveway located near Apron 4 and connecting to 3511 and 3611 Jericho Road at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond B.C. The proposed project will improve efficiency and safety for cargo movements between aircraft and warehouses located on Jericho Road.

The Proposed Project

The project consists of constructing 200m of new road with driveway access to two warehouses. The project will include new security fencing, overhead power lines and lighting. An existing drainage swale will be infilled and a culvert installed for drainage.  Existing vegetation consisting of grass will be removed and the area grubbed prior to infill and placement of sand, gravel and asphalt.

The total project area is approximately 2,000 sqm.
